Throughout the Bible, God is described beautifully as the Potter, and we are the clay. We are made in the image of God. God has sovereignty over every area of our lives, and we were created for a specific purpose. Because we have so many competing priorities, we can easily lose sight of the things that we are called to do. During times like these, we must go back to the Potter, because we are uniquely designed for a specific purpose. You are one of a kind! You see, if you want to do business with the U.S. Department of Education, you must register for a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). This one of kind UEI is specific to a grantee and can not be replicated. I realized this week as a child of God that we are also uniquely designed and identified by the Potter to meet a need in the earth that can’t be replicated. There is no one else like you!
Going back to the book of Genesis 1:27, So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God, He created them; male and female, He created them. Next, we find more specifically in Genesis 2:7, And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostril the breath of life, and man became a living soul. Jeremiah 1:5, The word of the Lord came to me, saying, Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. These scriptures provide the context for God being the source of our creation, strength, and purpose. We can find comfort in that we were formed by God in a way that is different from anything else that He created. God placed man in a unique category to have dominion over every other living thing.
You don’t have to allow circumstances to cause you to think less of yourself or what you are capable of achieving! Again, there is no one like you! Remember, you can go back to the Potter for whatever you need because He alone is our source. As always, thank you for your love and continued support! Join me in prayer to change hearts, heal our land, and for the contentment and peace to handle whatever should come up! I am so thankful to each of you for joining me on this journey to re-imagine contentment in 2022!
Always look for the Remarkable in your life!
