As we close out this Listening Series, I am so happy to report that it has blessed me tremendously! I am grateful for your love and support and have grown so much because of it! I hope and pray that you are listening more in every area of your life. Throughout this series, we have discussed how we should listen to God, listen to our body, the benefits and support gained from listening to people, and the critical need for all of us to listen to the political discourse! In the midst of all of the noise in our society, it is imperative that we remind ourselves constantly that God is our ultimate authority and that we should tune our hearing and hearts to listen to Him above everything else! We just need to slow down and drown out the noise!
The blog posts on Listening to Your Body really resonated with a lot of people in our Re-Imagining Contentment Community! It was one our highest viewed post and received a tremendous amount of engagement. The blog post on Listening to the Political Discourse drummed up a lot of passionate feedback. This shows that we must listen closely to the policy issues and make our own decision. Don’t allow others to guide or tell you what’s most important to your household.
The Bible tells us in Matthew 16:19, I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you lose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Psalm 62:11, Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God. I Corinthians 2:5, So that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
Slow down and listen to what the Lord is saying! He is still speaking to us; we just need to slow down to listen. As always, thank you for your love and continued support! Join me in prayer to change hearts, to heal our land, and for the contentment and peace to handle whatever should come up! I am so thankful to each of you for joining me on this journey to re-imagine contentment in 2024! God has so much in store for each of us. This is our year to OVERCOME!
