Periodically, we must have a sober self-assessment. In business, they use the term brand identity to make sure that all actions of the organization reflect the mission, values, and vision of the organization. Does your personal brand reflect who you are? If not, let’s recommit today to realigning our walk to reflect more accurately who we are. Yesterday, I attended a state-wide cluster for the sorority. I had so much fun! I saw old friends, received the charge for the new administration, did a little shopping, and recommitted to being more actively involved as a life member. I was especially proud that I was able to drive myself to Tupelo and was able to manage my anxiety in the company of a large crowd.
As Christians, our daily walk should always align with our faith. I know this can be challenging because we live in a world filled with sin. Yet, we must stand firm in what we believe and walk boldly as we represent Christ in all areas of our life. We must not allow various situations, challenges, or circumstances to cause us to compromise what we believe, or to trick us into not living up to our fullest potential. We must remember that we are never alone!
The Bible tells us in Romans 8:36-37, As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. I Kings 8:57, May the Lord our God be with us as He was with our ancestors; may He never leave us or abandon us. Isaiah 41:10, Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
Start today by having that sober self-assessment and recommitting to living life by walking in the knowledge of who you are. Let’s start enjoying those things that give us joy because life is too short. As always, thank you for your love and continued support! Join me in prayer to change hearts, heal our land, and for the contentment and peace to handle whatever should come up! I am so thankful to each of you for joining me on this journey to re-imagine contentment in 2022!
Always look for the Remarkable in your life!
