As previously stated, to become Remarkably free, we must first accept Christ as the head of our lives. Next, we must find a quiet place to pray and to remember who we are in Christ and to always reject anything outside of His perfect will for our lives. Becoming Remarkably free requires hard work, discipline, and sacrifice. We must be in tuned to the will of God for our life and that requires a commitment. Just like the athletes put in countless hours preparing for the 2020 Olympics, we must train our hearts and minds to safeguard our freedom in Christ.
Today, we will focus on accepting Christ as the head of our lives. This is simply a choice. You have the power to chose life and death. You have the power to make Christ Lord over your life and you also have the power to believe that with Christ all things are possible. Making this decision doesn’t mean that everything will be easy, but it does mean that you have access to a Comforter that will not leave you nor forsake you. The scriptures tell us in Romans 10:9-10, Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
Take a moment, I want you to reflect and consider or reaffirm making this choice if you have not already done so. Remember, God is not looking for a life of perfection but one that is seeking righteousness through Him. This choice will Remarkably impact your days on earth as well as how you will spend eternity. Now, you can find a local church so that you may serve, worship, and share with a community of believers.
Thanks for letting me know that I am not alone on this Remarkably free journey. Please start today by removing any barriers to your freedom in Christ.
