Release It

During the Sunday, November 12, 2023 blog, we started with Psalm 136:1, Oh give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good: for His mercy endureth forever, and we talked about the importance of rest and replenishing your body and soul. I heard from several of you, and everyone agreed that this is hard. It requires a complete change in how you see yourself. Because I have learned that I have to see myself the way God sees me; and that is, as His daughter, He will provide for all of my needs. I was recently reminded of the lyrics from that old song from my childhood, “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands.” We have to trust His many promises in the Bible.

Now that we have rested and replenished ourselves, the next step is releasing. Let’s release whatever is keeping us from living up to our fullest potential. Release anything that is keeping you up late at night, that may have you crying before getting into bed, overeating, drinking, hoarding, operating in a posture of fear, doubt, people pleasing, neglect, or low self-esteem. Now is the time to release it all. I know you may be comfortable but I want you to be free. This freedom will only come by releasing it all to God.

The Bible teaches us in Hebrews 12:1, Wherefore, seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Acts 17:28, For “In Him we live and move and have our being” as even some of your own poets have said, “For we are indeed His offspring.” Philippians 4:19, And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Now, inhale deeply and release It when you exhale!

As always, thank you for your love and continued support! Join me in prayer to change hearts, to heal our land, and for the contentment and peace to handle whatever should come up! I am so thankful to each of you for joining me on this journey to re-imagine contentment in 2023!

Always look for the Remarkable in your life!
