Can you believe we are approaching the end of May? Everyone is asking, “What are you planning for Memorial Day Weekend?” This is considered the unofficial start of summer. At the beginning of the month, we discussed the joy of togetherness and many of the activities that we enjoy with family and friends. We also talked about the importance of being fully present during those occasions. During this edition, I want to talk about enjoying the journey. Time is moving too quickly to focus only on milestones, key dates, and or major accomplishments. We must enjoy the journey of daily life and the blessings of the gift of presence. Let’s start praising God and enjoying the journey! Think about it, you can spend a lot of time, money, and other resources only for a single event and miss out on the fun and memorable moments during the journey.
The Word of God tells us in Proverbs 16:3, Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans. Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose. Philippians 1:6, I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Stop waiting for something special to happen in your life or for all your ducks to be in a row, but know that unexpected challenges during the journey can lead to beautiful destinations along the way! No matter where you may be going, may you enjoy the journey!
As always, thank you for your love and continued support! Join me in prayer to change hearts, to heal our land, and for the contentment and peace to handle whatever should come up! I am so thankful to each of you for joining me on this journey to re-imagine contentment in 2023!
Always look for the Remarkable in your life!
