On April 27, 2016, Re-Imagining Contentment was birthed during my initial sermon at The Sanctuary at Kingdom Square, under the dynamic leadership of Bishop Anthony G. Maclin. Fast forward to March 29, 2020, Re-Imagining Contentment the organization and blog was launched! This has been an incredible journey! I am so thankful for our reach across the country and the globe. As I reflect on this past year, it is my prayer and hope that we have inspired, encouraged, informed, challenged, brought souls closer to Christ, and confirmed how you have learned to re-imagine contentment by living your life from God’s perspective. Happy 2nd Anniversary!
During this journey, I have become very aware of my time and how precious each moment is to me. I am not sure if it is because of turning 50, living through a global pandemic, watching a war in Ukraine, or reading about the year-long conflict in Ethiopia, I realized that it is imperative that I not take time for granted. Our time is constantly moving and circumstances can change things very quickly! Nevertheless, we are told in our Bible in II Peter 3:8-9, But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping His promises, as some understand slowness. Instead, He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. Mark 13:32-33, But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come. Psalm 90:12, Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
Therefore, start today by living life from God’s perspective! That’s what Re-Imagining Contentment is all about. I ask each of you, don’t delay your dreams, goals, or your contentment for another moment. So, to commemorate our 2nd Anniversary, I am happy to announce the launch of our store on Etsy! In our store, you will find digital journal pages to help you document achieving your dreams and the valuable lessons you have learned as you have re-imagined contentment for your life.
Thank you for your love and continued support! I am so thankful to each of you for joining me on this journey to re-imagine contentment in 2022!
Always look for the Remarkable in your life!
