After another weekend of devastating tornados that spanned several states and claimed, according to CNN, at least 21 lives, it should be clear to all that now is the time to execute a plan for your Salvation. Don’t put this decision off for another moment! I noted in my post last week that I was not afraid during the storm that caused so much devastation on March 21st. However, that was not the case during the storm that passed through my area on March 31st. The warning sirens went off several times and we were advised by the local meteorologist, “To take shelter in your safe space and to grab any type of helmet to cover your head.” I am not sure if it was the number of people that died from the storm or the massive loss of property the week before; but this time, it was different--I was afraid! Again, not about going to heaven but about my unfinished business and dying alone.
As previously noted, Salvation is the foundation of a Christ-centered lifestyle. It is the secret component of pursuing a life with purpose and the deliverance from the penalty of sin through faith in Christ. Salvation is your passport to heaven. After all that we have been through, do you have your passport ready? This Palm Sunday is the perfect time to give your life to Christ. I will also ask you to make it your priority to finish all unfinished business. Please don’t procrastinate about those things that are important to you and never compromise your happiness, safety, and peace.
The Scripture states in 1 Thessalonians 5:9–10, For God, has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him.
I John 2:17, The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever. Jude 1:21, ...keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
Resurrection Sunday is next week. This is the right time to make a decision about your Salvation. As always, thank you for your love and continued support! Join me in prayer to change hearts, to heal our land, and for the contentment and peace to handle whatever should come up! I am so thankful to each of you for joining me on this journey to re-imagine contentment in 2023!
Happy Palm Sunday!
This post is in memory of all of those who died in the storm.
Always look for the Remarkable in your life!
