After the post last week, I had several intimate conversations regarding the topic, Nothing is Impossible for our God. Each person expressed that they believed but had questions, added some qualifiers, or listed their doubts and concerns regarding the scripture. Some of the feedback received included: “If He did this, can I ask for that?” “Can He do this and that?” “If He did it before, can or will He do it again?” “Does nothing, include this thing I am dealing with?” “I have a proven track record in one area (career) but not in other major areas (family planning).”
The scripture clearly states that Nothing is Impossible for our God. Therefore, we can go boldly, as much as needed with our financial, personal, global, health care, and even Hurricane Ida petitions. However, we must take a moment to make sure those things that we are praying and believing God for are aligned with God’s perfect will for our lives. Yet, I wonder do we really believe and trust that the scriptures apply to us personally? Scripture also states in Genesis 15:6, Abram believed the Lord, and He credited it to him as righteousness.
Let’s start today, by believing with our whole heart, that nothing is impossible for our God! If you can dare to believe that He is able to meet all of your needs, you can trust Him to do it. Don’t put God in a box and please don’t put Him on your schedule. Accept that He is All-Knowing, All-Powerful, and Ever Present! That simply means, you can trust Him because Nothing is impossible for our God.
Don’t limit your relationship with God. We must surrender everything to Him. Make Him Lord over every area of your life and not your Sunday morning manger. Throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, we can find so many references to the names for God because of who He is or to mark something that He did. You will find references for our God as: Jehovah Jireh (provider); Jehovah Tsidkenu (the Lord our Righteousness); Alpha and Omega (the beginning and the end); Jehovah Rapha (Healer), and Jehovah Shalom (The Lord our Peace), to name a few. These references give comfort and assurance that our God is able to handle whatever is occurring in our lives.
Because of this, we can believe that Nothing is Impossible for our God!
Always look for the Remarkable in your life!
