In order to achieve optimal performance from our vehicles, we have to have periodic tune-ups. If you want to avoid major dental disasters, it is imperative that we schedule routine check-ups. Our general practitioners require that at least an annual physical be scheduled to manage our overall health and wellness. It is necessary that we do these check-ins to maintain our physical temples but we must also check-in to manage our spiritual and emotional health as well. Therefore, it only makes sense that we would closeout this series with a Let It Go Check-In.
Because I am a stickler for managing time and truly believe that success is in attending to the details, I have to check myself to make sure I am not allowing the process to steal my joy! This was my first time hosting our Thanksgiving dinner and I wanted everything to be perfect. However, when dealing with family, coordinating who will bring what, checking vaccination status, and trying to have a concrete confirmed list of attendees, all can be too much to even expect perfection.
Finally, I had to remember my own words and just let it go! This year was dramatically different from last year. We were able to gather together as a family and for that I am so thankful! Almost everyone was vaccinated, we had hand sanitizer and tried to gather in our family pods at the table. We had over 50 people in attendance! What a blessing!
No matter how you may have been tested in your faith during the holiday season, we can seek forgiveness and start the process of letting it go again! You may recall that we talked about several witnesses last week that found themselves in some challenging situations. We mentioned Moses, Joseph, Jonah, and Paul. All faced incredible situations but God was with them. Just as God was with each of them, He is also with us! The scriptures tell us in Joshua 1:5, I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you. Isaiah 41:10, Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I Peter 5:7, Casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.
Letting go of whatever is bothering you isn’t easy; but, God is always with us. We can always cast our cares on Him no matter how big or small the issue! All we have to do is trust and believe! I am looking forward to hearing your powerful Let It Go Testimony.
Always look for the Remarkable in your life!
