Do you often feel overwhelmed by life’s circumstances? As I look back over 2024, it has been filled with more highs than lows, yet the lows seem to outweigh the highs. It is interesting how one-off moment can spoil an entire day or you can encounter one rude person and that can change your entire mood. Our time is too short and too precious to waste a single moment of it. We must change our perspective by trusting God with every aspect of life. I remember the song that said all of my good days outweigh my bad days and I won’t complain. Let’s stop complaining and simply trust God! Throughout this year, I faced situations that reminded me of the following and the listed scriptures blessed me. I hope they will help you to change your perspective as well.
· When facing death: (Revelation 21:4)
· When facing disappointment: (Proverbs 3:5-6)
· When facing challenges: (Psalm 46:1-2)
· When facing fear: (Isiah 41:10)
· When facing loneliness: (Joshua 1:5)
As we closeout 2024, we must believe and trust God with our whole heart that all things will work together for our good (Romans 8:28)!
The Bible tells us in I Corinthians 15:58, Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. Galatians 6:9, And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. Lamentations 3:22-23, The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
