I decided that in 2025, I will abide in Christ! I didn’t realize that abiding in the love of Christ would require balancing contradictions. I love the Lord, but hate does not cease to exist. I am striving to maintain re-imagined contentment, living life from God’s perspective, but anxiety and stress are competing to dominate first place in my mind. I am trying to stand on God’s many promises for my life, but fear is lurking around the corner. Initially, I assumed I was the only one balancing these contradictions. After having several conversations with close friends and family members, it became painfully clear that I am not alone. I asked God, “How do we navigate this terrain?” “What do I say and what should I or we do during this time?”
The Bible tells us in Psalm 27:1, The Lord is my light and my Salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Deuteronomy 3:22, You shall not fear them, for it is the Lord your God who fights for you. John 14:27, Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
No matter what happens in 2025, we must not just accept Jesus as the head of our life, but we must abide in His Love. Abiding means we have to do something. Please seek God for what that is for you! Because we know that God has promised to protect us, provide for us, prepare us, and propel us to where He would have us to be during this critical time in our history. There is safety in His arms!
As always, thank you for your love and continued support! Join me in prayer to change hearts, to heal our land, and for the contentment and peace to handle whatever should come up! God has so much in store for each of us; because of this, we will abide in Him in 2025!
Always look for the Remarkable in your life!
