Since our last post about The Sweet Aroma of Fall, so much has happened. We started this year declaring that we are overcomers. That has not changed! We will stand on every promise of God because He is with us! As we will move to our next topic in this series, it is now very timely, A Time of Transition. Little did I know that the country would vote, and we would be preparing for not only a change in seasons but a major transition to a new presidential administration. The campaign and election were unlike any in recent history! The outcome was not what I expected! As we embrace the change in the landscape, we must also accept the outcome of the election and trust that God is in complete control! If you are like me, you needed a moment to reflect, question, cry, pray, and now I am ready to move forward. I will move forward by accepting the time change, the transition of the weather, a new administration, a new political party, and a new incoming president. A time of transition can be hard because we have to shift how we do things. One of the major changes that we face during this season is how it is getting darker earlier. This has caused us to rework how we run errands for example. Although this is a minor adjustment, we must make the necessary adjustments in every area of life. We can make it through the shift in life because we know that God is with us!
The Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 9:11, I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned, but time and chance happen to them all. II Corinthians 4:8-8, We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. Revelation 22:13, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
Please take the time that you need to hit the reset button. This transitional season will last for four years but our God will see us through each of the transitions that we face. During this time, we must pray, listen to God, strategize, mobilize, and not be silent in order to be a formidable force to defend those things that we believe. You will overcome this and everything that you may be facing! Next, we will discuss Treating Yourself Well.
As always, thank you for your love and continued support! Join me in prayer to change hearts, to heal our land, and for the contentment and peace to handle whatever should come up! I am so thankful for each of you in joining me on this journey to re-imagine contentment in 2024! God has so much in store for each of us. This is our year to OVERCOME!
Always look for the Remarkable in your life!
