Last week, we talked about A Remarkable Love for the Lord.
In the past, this was because of the changes, challenges and the discolorations of my body from injection site reactions caused by medication and symptoms from a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. I loved me but didn’t like how my body had changed. How many of you have been there? It may have been weight gain from childbirth or anxiety, dealing with the negative side effects from a battle with cancer, losing too much weight or hair loss because of stress, not able to hold on to that athletic body from college, and or a host of many other reasons.
Just like any love story, every day may not be easy, but you have to recommit to loving yourself each and every day! We have to remind ourselves that according to the Word of God in Genesis 1:26-27, And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the foul of the air, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created he him, male and female created he them. So, we not only have been created in His image, but we have all power to do what God has called us to do. Please don’t ever forget that!
Look into the mirror and decide today to love all of you!
In the words of John Legend’s, “All of Me”
Love your curves and all your edges
All your perfect imperfections
Once you have a personal love story, you can have a solid love walk with the Lord and that will open your heart for giving and receiving love from others. Your story must start with a personal love story – with you! I got my swag, sexy and style back and I love it! What about you?
I love you!
