Matthew 22:36-38 states, “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied, “Love the Lord your God with all your Heart and with all your Soul and with all your Mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.”
Have you put loving God first? Do you demonstrate your love for Him in your lifestyle? Can others see your love for God in how you treat people? Let’s start today by making God a priority. Begin now by seeking Him first. Turn to God when you are facing tough situations. Rely on God for guidance in the midst of your storms. Our scripture tells us to love the Lord with all of your heart, soul and mind. This is a complete experience that requires us to make the Lord our confidant. We must turn to Him regarding all things. This scripture also reveals that we should make a commitment unto the Lord daily. In a relationship, you must demonstrate and honor that love with a lasting commitment. Lastly, we must consistently renew our minds because of all of the distractions in the world.
The world talks about love from a different perspective with conditions and qualifier. But once you give God your heart, that will mark the beginning of a Remarkable love story! I am so thankful to God for His love and that of my family and wonderful friends. Let's make sure we are Consistent with our Commitment to our Confidant.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
