It’s good to know Jesus,
It’s good to know Jesus,
(He’s the Lily of the Valley, a bright and morning star).
It’s good to know the Lord.
I love the Lord, He heard my cry,
And He pitied every groan.
Long as I live while trouble rise,
I’ll hasten to His throne.
It’s Good to Know Jesus, Mississippi Mass Choir (1991)
After the death of Aunt Willie Mae on October 28, 2019, we were heartbroken. I was asked about how I was going to celebrate my 50th Birthday the following year. I responded, “I don’t want a party, nor a trip, but I want to share 50 Remarkable Things. I just want to experience and learn new and Remarkable Things throughout the year with my friends and family!” A year ago, who knew we would be celebrating birthdays and anniversaries with drive-by parades instead of parties!
Over this past year, my God showed up and showed out! I had some Remarkable highs and lows but through it all, I am so happy that I know the Lord. He has blessed, predestined, chosen, redeemed, sustained, kept, provided, strengthened, covered, inspired, motivated, healed, and sealed you and me throughout this year. According to James 1:12, Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trail, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him.
As I look back over this year, I am so grateful for how you have supported my 50 Remarkable Things Journey! I have loved sharing my story and what I have learned through my blog.
For now, I will continue my 50 Remarkable Things Journey until I have clarity regarding next steps from the Lord, because IT IS GOOD TO KNOW THE LORD!

Thank you for your love, prayers, and support!
