I did it! This blog was created because I didn’t want a 50th Birthday Party and the responsibility of coordinating and managing a trip – not to mention deciding on a location worthy of this milestone. Instead, I decided to enjoy 50 Remarkable Things with all of my favorite people, trying and learning new things and celebrating life.
I was diagnosed with MS in 2009, although I was told that being diagnosed with MS was not the end of the world – I allowed the diagnosis to shrink my world -- but not anymore! Therefore, I invite you to join me on this 50 Remarkable Things Journey and offer suggestions, encouragement or extend an invitations to help me reach my goal. To be honest, I started to question this 50 Remarkable Things Journey, because with the invasion of the coronavirus and how it has changed everyday life for each of us, I am not sure how to reach this goal with so many things cancelled. But after much prayer, I am clear that I must also Re-Imagine Contentment and find remarkable joy in the gift of everyday life.
So, I encourage you to check out my website that includes scriptures and a prayer about Re-Imagining Contentment (even as we practice social distancing) and more importantly, to start your own Remarkable Things Journey! Because now more than ever - we need to Re-Imagine Contentment from God’s perspective!
